You’ll need to take a tuberculosis test if you are resident in any of these countries. Click your country to get information on approved test clinics for your country. Follow the instructions to book and pay for your test.
You’ll be given a chest x-ray to test for tuberculosis. If the result of the x-ray isn’t clear you may be subjected to further testing. If your test shows that you don’t have TB, you’ll be given a certificate which is valid for 6 months from the date of your x-ray. Include this certificate with your UK settlement visa application.
The fee is dependant on testing centre and currency conversion rates but is usually around £86.
